To the fair

Bring me to the fair,
Where we can ride on the Ferris wheel
With our legs dangling from the chair,
High up in the air.

Where we will have our hands and faces
Sticky with candy floss
Where we will find secret places
And pretend we are pirates lost
On Treasure Island.

Where bumper cars crash with glee
Into each other,
Where we will read the funnies
And laugh till our sides ache.

Where we will sneak
Into the house of horrors
And steal a peek
At the ghostly lady in white
And scream till our voices hoarse.

Bring me to the fair
Where we will have so much fun
Bring me to the fair
Before we get too old
To live, to love, to play.
